Nissin: Design Guidelines — Role: Design, Art Direction & Illustration
Turning Nissin into a Pop icon.
Before its 50th anniversary in Brazil, Nissin faced a dire situation: declining market share due to numerous copied products of its original masterpiece: Instant Ramen. To maintain its pioneering spirit and leadership, we decided to revamp the entire brand identity to reclaim the top of the podium. The first major step was to rejuvenate all communication. Starting with its digital platform, everything—iconography, product families, and institutional communication—was meticulously redesigned to capture the brand's unique pop culture appeal.

Ramen Gifs
Due to our limited budget for photo production, we had to get creative to showcase the remaining recipes. Our solution was to create a series of special illustrated GIFs instead of using traditional dish photos for thumbnails. Collaborating with our friends at Le Cube, each GIF tells a unique story related to the recipe. The feedback was so positive that we later ran those GIFs as films for Social.
